_Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as __Commodity Buyer-Castings at Chihuahua Plant_**
_Position Summary_
Develop and implement the most beneficial type of sourcing agreements and to support the development of a network of best practice suppliers for Casting

_Responsibilities_

Responsible for commodity purchasing of casting in region.
Managing and executing strategic, tactical and operational commodity purchasing tasks in collaboration with Div R MM, product lines and crossfunctions to improve financial performance
Interfaces: e.g. PP, SDE, Quality, PM, Engineering, Controlling, PLs, etc.
Tasks: souring, negotiations, part family strategy, supplier selection, performance
Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management of the casting parts, thus identify regional commodity sourcing opportunities, fulfilled global sourcing strategy.
Achieve annual KPI's for cost reduction, payment terms, strategic supplier content, supplier consolidation and other annual KPI's as assigned by management.
Supporting or leading the development and implementation of Part Family Strategies, incl. strategic supplier selection, BCC sourcing, localization, BGP gap closure, sustainability, resilience, dual sourcing, etc.
Play a leading role in establishing and maintaining legally binding contracts and purchasing agreements for the commodities.
Maintain systems to support the sourcing function, e.g. OneSB, SWAT, Supply on, COPS, etc.

_Required Skills & Experience_

Bachelor's degree required
Advance English
Experience in commodity management / purchasing, supplier development or equivalent with good technical & commercial understanding
Strong analytical skills and good communication
Must be mobile and willing to travel based on needs

Proactive cooperation with other functions teams e.g. PP, SDE, Quality, PM, Engineering, Controlling, PLs, etc.
