About the Role:

Uber is a very dynamic business with different business units organization (Mobility, Delivery - New Verticals, Freight).

Considering that HC has increased in Mexico with CS acquisition it is important to have local Employee and Labor Relations support to guarantee business continuity and growth without disruptions.

Employee and Labor Relations Partner, based in Mexico City.


The role will be part of the Employee Relations (ER) team at Uber within the People & Places (P&P) organisation.

Together with the ER Director, will be responsible for defining and implementing our Labor Relations program in order with labor laws change regarding Union matters.

We are looking for a specialized case management expert to conduct workplace investigations into employee relations concerns and support overall positive employee engagement.

You'll provide guidance and make recommendations to business leaders to help resolve workplace concerns.

What You'll Do:


  • Conduct workplace investigations in response to a range of employee relations concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and other violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Develop recommendations based on investigation findings for appropriate remediation or other corrective action and work on restorative conversations.
  • Communicate regularly regarding pending investigations and provide timely investigation reports with supporting documentation for all completed investigations
  • Utilize the designated online case management tool for tracking; maintain accurate, confidential records regarding all investigations
  • Coordinating and advising the HR teams on matters related to employees representation, in compliance with local social legal regulations
  • Liaising with the relevant collaborators (HR, Legal, E&C, Operations, Communications) to support and implement various projects (coordination, risk management and alignment), and deploy programs and policies.
  • Ensuring Uber's compliance to social relations regulations in LATAM countries, mainly Mexico

What You'll Need:


  • Case management skills; Mexico employment law and ; Nice to have: HR background/ compensation knowledge
  • 4+ years' of demonstrable experience with case management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Structured, rigorous and detailed oriented
  • Shown team member manager
  • Able to influence others
  • Able to express legal related topics in a clear, concise and pragmatic manner
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent Spanish, English nice to have: Portuguese
