In Global Services, these objectives are achieved through an offshore Services Operations team in India, a near shore Center of Excellence and Service Delivery Management team in Mexico and Costa Rica, that supports the on shore in country teams.

Within Global Services, the Procurement Sourcing team delivers measurable value to Thomson Reuters through the establishment or improvement of competitive frameworks and markets for the purchase of goods and services.

The principal function of the team is to develop and deploy category strategies for IT, professional services, and content & royalties supporting the Thomson Reuters Group globally.

Our aim is to, through category and sourcing strategies, capture sustained and competitive value on par with world-class benchmarks.

This team provides procurement consultancy services in accordance with industry best practices that enable the provision of united, standardized, and value creating services to the business.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a
Director, Services Procurement Sourcing, you will:

Develop and deploy of world class category strategies within a medium risk/medium complex domain of IT, professional services, and content & royalties spend.
Be responsible for the effective and timely delivery of projects against their timeline and plan and to coordinate a group of sourcing professionals to drive results in alignment with the category strategies.
Lead the development of the Procurement function and the delivery of procurement consultancy services in accordance with industry best practices enabling value creation to the business.
Lead ongoing improvements in sourcing capability and maturity at Thomson Reuters by executing bestpractice sourcing methodology and standards and will develop your team to become a high performing team driven by excellence principles around strategy creation, data quality and effective execution and reporting.
Lead sourcing projects and programs spanning low/mid budgets, oneyear/multiyear contracts, and low/mid risk profiles for the business.
Ensure continuously deliver flawless and frictionless customer service performance from your teams.

About You
You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

You have a minimum of 8-10 years global experience, working in matrixed teams, Procurement and Sourcing teams.
You have the ability to constantly drive and deliver results, reduce downtime to the business and avoid barriers to productivity.
You are capable to plan and prioritize effectively and then efficiently manage yourself, your team, other resources, processes, and tools to successfully deliver value creation projects.
You are able to assign work, allocate resources, monitor results, control costs and manage staff on multiple projects.
Factbased savings results through complex negotiation processes for IT and Non-IT areas of spend.
You have an attitude to work and win in teams.
Leadership: Capable of deliver through others, act as a role model, create synergies, obtain the best from the team members and keep an energized and connected team.
