    As an NPI ISC Project Manager, you will have an opportunity to manage all aspects of the procurement process that support some of the most innovative products in our industry. Through effective management of supply partners you will help bring amazing products to life that enhance the lives of millions of people around the world. In this role you will partner with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, commodity leaders and executives from across the company as you solve complex problems that allow for successful product launches. You will work on high-impact projects that move the business forward. If you have the unique ability to motivate and lead others to successfully meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding the status of each project then this role is for you. You will have a strong understanding of project management activities, including the end to end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment. You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact projects that move the business forward. You will help your team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding the status of the project.

    JOB DUTIES:

  • Develop and deliver strategic sourcing supplier plan for all NPI projects assigned, identifying and contracting with prospective and incumbent suppliers for 100% of BOM items, ensuring key project milestones are documented and achieved.
  • Execute source selection for NPI projects in conjunction with category strategy to drive the right cost on day one and increase commercial leverage.
  • Complete risk assessment and create proactive action plans for all key milestones
  • Complete all aspects of NPI sourcing process from RFP, Negotiation, Source Selection, Award and Execution
  • Develop integration plan to ensure smooth transition of NPI into internal factory or EMS after award
  • Setup flexible supply chain for <10 day LT and automate PO/forecast communication
  • Execute source selection and initial orders per project to ensure on-time competitive source selection and align delivery needs to minimize risk for project
  • Follow RFQ process that includes lifecycle and inventory management
  • Complete non-disclosure agreement if needed
  • Work with outsourced suppliers that are under contract
  • Project manage outsourced NPI projects as necessary
  • Work with a global network of Category Managers to locate prospective new suppliers as necessary to meet unique needs not covered by Preferred Supplier List
  • Communicate all technical requirements to suppliers & engage engineering where necessary
  • Maintain continuous in-depth knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and developing technologies and bring industry knowledge to NPI process for respective commodities for success of projects

    • YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Similar
  • 8+ years Supply Chain or Procurement experience
  • 3+ years Project Management Experience
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Experience working with EMS manufacturers
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • Advanced skills and experience in SAP

    • WE VALUE:

  • MBA or advanced degree desired
  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with Agile, Accolade, or other ERP and Project Management systems
  • Purchasing or Production certification (. CPM or APICS) a plus
    Experience with new product aligning customer needs with the supply base
    Ability to think strategically but manage the details and execution of projects as required
  • Excellent cross functional teaming abilities
