Supervise raw material to identify, solve and prevent shortages
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure correct inventory levels avoiding expedited, short and over inventory.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure we meet goals (DIO).
Ensure the timely and proper involvement of the purchasing team in new products and engineering changes to avoid obsolescence of raw material and finished product.
Negotiate with suppliers the introduction of a consignment model
Ensure the availability of purchased material to support the manufacturing process in a J.I.T manner.
Work with the Materials Management to help meet the organization's objectives.
Tracks all material flow in your areas of responsibility and recommends changes as needed.
Monitor the receipt, storage and timely disposal of all purchased material.
Follow inventory rotation and audit procedures.
Responsible for the accurate and timely shipment of all customer requirements.
Ensure accurate preparation of customer shipments.
Maintain constant monitoring of customer needs to ensure that they are met, in coordination with the CSR determining delivery times, availability of materials, production and equipment.
Manage and control the development of the skills, processes and tools of the planning and purchasing team (MRP) to ensure the achievement of the objectives through continuous improvement.
Together with the Materials Manager, he is responsible for implementing the elements of ISO 14000, BIQS, TS applicable to his process.
Provide direction and coaching to employees.
Have constant and effective communication with the CSR (Customer Service) department in relation to their requirements and fluctuations, to determine a date for the customer based on the availability of materials, production and equipment.

Supervisor experience required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the supply chain.
English 90%
Practical knowledge of MRP II and / or ERP systems, which would include HFA.
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Working knowledge of IATF 16949: 2016 and ISO-45001 / ISO-14000 Working knowledge of United States and Mexico environmental, health and safety standards.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to interact with internal and external clients.
Supervision of multidisciplinary team
Ability to participate as an auditor in quality systems.
Certification in APICS preferably.
