Human Resources Business Partner, Fitch Ratings

Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based out of our Mexico City or Monterrey office.

  • A Fitch Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting all aspects of the employment cycle across the Latin America region. Working closely with the North America Business Partner team, the HRBP will manage and oversee all employee related queries and act as an equal partner to the regional heads of Finance, Operations and Compliance. They will also be solely responsible for ensuring the Human Resources (HR) Service Center and/or the local Operations Manager receives accurate and timely information on all employment related changes and drive changes within the operations of regional HR activities to optimize efficiency. In addition to their daily duties, the HRBP will act as an intermediary between other business departments and the HR team while also being the first point of contact for employees, first line and middle managers throughout the Latin America region.

We'll Count on You To:


  • Act as the single point of contact for employees providing quick, accurate and consistent advice. Including, and not limited to, employee relations, performance management, position management, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Provide HR support and guidance/advice to line managers on all employment related matters ensuring consistency in approach.
  • Responsible for overseeing the HR activities performed by the local Operation Managers to ensure all HR matters across the region are handled in an accurate and timely manner and that HR are kept informed and standard HR processes are followed.
  • Manage immigration and relocation services as required.
  • Work with the Senior HRBPs and local office heads to support regional HR activities and initiatives.
  • Works proactively with other support teams such as Finance, Compliance and IT to ensure employee queries are resolved and to establish good relationships with these areas.
  • Manages and resolves employee relations and performance management issues escalating to Senior HRBPs as necessary or when handling more complex cases.
  • Coordinates adhoc reports with MIS team and presents data to business and Senior HRBPs in a meaningful manner. Takes the lead in monitoring and analyzing periodic reports such as PDR and objectives, new joiners and leavers reporting back to the team with any issues/trends.
  • Support the business on all annual/cyclical activities such as PDR and calibration, midyear reviews, compensation and promotions process.
