Job Description:
Purchasing Management Quality Supervisor
Team Leader of a Purchasing Management Quality team in Juarez, Mexico
- Leading, coaching and developing of the PMQ7-XE2 team and team members to reach the business goals in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery
- Responsibility for the Preventive Quality Planning, the Execution and Release for purchased parts (focus on mechanical and electromechanical materials)
- Ensuring fulfillment of Bosch quality standards and Customer specific requirements among the supply chain, during project, ramp-up and change management.
- Active contribution to SE-teams of product development, technical supplier discussion and decisions
- Ensuring Lessons Learned with cross-functional and global teams set-up
- Reporting up to high management level
- Building-up constructive collaboration and communication with key stakeholders M/PU, BU and plant functions
- Contributing to strategical decisions in cooperation with PQT, PQA and PPX functions in regards of frontloading activities, supplier selection and sourcing, continuous improvement.
- Representing PMQ-XE2 in the region with strong decision making to guarantee the business operation. Leadership challenge to manage a team that works for two different business domains in a growing electronic market environment.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge and experience with quality methods and tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), especially with preventive quality planning (PQP).
- Experience with manufacturing processes (plastic injection molding, stamping and forming, aluminum die casting, machining and grinding, electromechanical assemblies).
- Experience in automotive industry environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher with engineering background.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in international collaboration and projects
- Analytic, systematic and solution-oriented working style
- High interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, motivation and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel (within and outside Mexico)
Availability to Travel Domestic / International: 15~20%
