Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


Regional treasury will be responsible for the cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, and financing requirements of Colgate Palmolive.

The Treasury Analyst is expected to support in establishing new capabilities, policy development and strategies for assisting in managing funding requirements and mitigating CP's risk exposures.

Reporting to the Regional Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for assisting in day to day tasks and supporting regional treasury activities


Other specific responsibilities include:

  • Cash flow forecast analysis: identify business drivers around working capital usage with a focus on forecasting and improving working capital usage
  • Bank Account Ownership: Assist in the management of all bank accounts within the region and monitor bank fees.
  • Bank Relationship Management: Support Colgate's global relationship bank management and maintain good working relationship with bank counterparts
  • Lead and deliver ad hoc analysis and presentations as requested by management
  • Monitor and provide insight on local market conditions for currencies in each of the region's key markets
  • Develop understanding of new business models, build financial analyses, and recommend effective risk mitigation and hedging strategies
  • Evaluate strategic risk/reward tradeoffs including hedging costs, hedge ratios, hedge structures, and hedge accounting
  • Collaborate with business finance teams to identify and mitigate FX exposures
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with cash and risk management corporate policies
  • Assists with implementation of new IT, banking or SAP systems

What do you need for the Position?

  • Scholarship: Bachelor's Degree in Finance
  • Experience: 1.5+ years in working in a treasury, or finance functions either in a corporate institution or in financial services
  • English: Advanced
  • Excel
  • Advanced (dynamic tables)
  • Familiarity with Google Suite of tools
  • Sap Knowledge (desirable)
  • Portuguese (desirable)
