Bunzl de Mexico, a Bunzl Company, is a fast-growing company in the Bunzl Distribution part of PACS, we are looking for a Sales Manager with proven sales experience and an interest in going to the next level.

This is a multi-functional role that offers tremendous growth potential to build upon a very successful operation.

The primary focus will be responsible for creating, developing, and driving sales within the following target markets:
Supermarkets, Convenience Stores, Industrial, HORECA, Food Processors, Re Distribution, Retail.


The Sales Manager will also be responsible for building customer relationships, handling customer complaints and inquiries, managing the sales team, recruiting as well as working effectively with other team members to drive customer results.


Bunzl de Mexico is a service-oriented, direct distributor of Food packaging containers, Janitorial, EPP, Strech Film, PVC Film, Paper Bags, Aluminum.

Responsibilities:_

  • Build and manage existing sales team
  • Create a Sales & Budget report.
  • Recruit and train new sales professionals
  • Promote new products within existing customer base
  • Work with sales team to establish and grow new accounts
  • Sell into existing accounts value added products: Custom Print packaging, industrial bags, high end Flexible Packaging, Clamshells, corrugated, packaging machinery, Labels, RPC Labels, soaker pads, stretch wrap, etc
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecast to operational team to ensure inventory levels are up to date
  • Evaluate pricing every quarter to ensure and protect margins
  • Grow territory with topline and bottomline results with the goal of adding additional sales personnel
  • Participate in Industry Association Functions
  • Work with a cross functional team to develop marketing communications including marketing collateral, promotional items, direct mail and the web sites
  • Assist in the development of new designs and projects
  • Work with outside vendors on new materials and new innovative packaging solutions with regards to produce packaging

Requirements:_

  • Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, Business or related
  • Must have 8+ years of outside sales experience in at least one of the following markets: food processing, produce packaging, produce repackers, custom print packaging, industrial bags, corrugated, flexible packaging, clamshells
  • Required to work independently and set goals for branch development and success
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to utilize acceptable mathematical skills
  • Moderate travel; sometimes with overnight stays
  • Demonstrate a friendly and professional experience
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required
