    We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Third Party Support Manager.

    Role Purpose

    Reporting to the Country Head of CRE the individual has responsibility for managing either one or a portfolio vendor relationship, depending on vendor size.

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Oversight of all aspects of the vendor's performance, utilizing standardized SLAs and KRI's
    • Strong understanding of the vendor's business, including major changes in their financial position and customer base
    • Execution of the necessary sampling, checking and oversight of the bank's vendor management requirements in line with the Vendor Risk Management policy and CRE VM Framework, including sampling employee vetting and sampling anti-bribery procedures
    • Achieve the required local due diligence checks, where not covered at a global or regional level.
    • Primary interface for physical site visits to vendor premises to understand the business and verify the necessary controls are in place.
    • Collaborate with Procurement to ensure that, upon contract expiry, an appropriate renewal (or re-procurement) strategy exists and is executed, obtaining the agreement of Procurement Boards as necessary.
    • Organize and chair formal review meetings for major vendors and key HSBC stakeholders to ensure performance and customers satisfaction is being maintained.
    • Point of escalation for exceptional non-performance, escalating issues of underperformance, process, or failings of due diligence to the vendors to protect the bank's exposure to risk.
