Sr Spec-Transportation Freight

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate & Supervise Traffic Team scheduling for inbound & outbound ocean/land/air/domestics shipments
Supervise Transport performance (3PL & Asset based carriers) to provide an efficient service & competitive cost.
Supervise Freight billing auditing & approval of carrier expenses
Daily communication with Forwarders, Asset Carriers, Customs Broker, Suppliers, Customers
Supervise for preparation & Maintenance of daily transit shipment reports in a timely manner
Escalating problems when necessary
Performing other duties assigned by Transportation Manager in accordance with established company policies & procedures
Implementation and development of Freight initiatives related to cost savings & business oportunities.

Qualifications:

English speaking & verbal ability
Traffic & Customs for imports & exports
Transportation knowledge (Ocean/Land/Air)
Communication skills
Problem solving
Proactive, committed, responsible
MS Office Excel

Education

Bachelor's degree in International Commerce, Administration or related field

Experience

4 or 5 years in Traffic & Customs Area
