- Conduct thorough cost analyses on current business processes and identify areas of opportunity for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Develop and implement strategies for cost savings that align with organizational goals and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, assess risks and opportunities, and determine action plans
- Provide regular reporting and updates on cost savings initiatives to management
- Drive cost optimization efforts across the organization, including process improvement, supplier negotiations, and contract management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in the development of budgets and forecasts, and provide input on cost savings targets
- Continuously monitor and evaluate cost-saving strategies to ensure they are effective and sustainable
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in cost savings, procurement, or finance
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings through process improvement and supplier negotiations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management best practices is a plus
