About the Position:

The individual must be able to work with only general supervision, be comfortable communicating to all levels of leadership (both internal & external) and have developed Quality Engineering skills.

This position is designated as remote but may require occasional business travel.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain software quality assurance standards and procedures.
Monitor software development processes and identify areas of improvement.
Establish and document test plans, test cases and test results.
Analyze system requirements and design specifications.
Identify and document software defects.
Provide feedback to software developers on defects and errors.
Monitor software performance and system reliability.
Prepare and maintain software quality assurance reports.
Facilitate/assist in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance (via internal audit), support continuous improvement efforts, and participate/interface with the engineering and customers
Provide QA support for program peer reviews, audits, regression testing, & integration

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Must have prior experience with Testim and Java Script
Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
Experienced in developing and executing automated and manual test scripts.
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
Proficient in defect tracking and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plan.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
