Education:


  • Bachelor Degree in Medicine

Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years of work experience performing Medical Coordinator role in any type of industry

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Unrestricted state license in the state of practice
  • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C))
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Work Requirements:

  • Involves frequent (defined as one to twothirds of the time) lifting of more than 10 to 25 pounds. Work performed requires a good deal of walking or standing and may include some sedentary work and working conditions that include moderate noise levels related to the use of office equipment or machinery. May involve exposure to varying outside temperatures.

  • Stablish a clear work plan and evaluate performance of direct reports (doctors, nutritionists, psychologist and nurse)
  • Creating a safe work environment to deliver expected results.
  • Develop strategies of excellence regarding Wellness, Mental Health and Occupational Health
  • Performs comprehensive and problemfocused physical assessments on patients, orders laboratory and diagnostic tests, and interprets and correlates results to assist physicians in formulating diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians for the preparation of progress notes on patient charts, medical history, prescriptions, medication orders, referral documents, informed consent forms, etc.
  • Collaborates with physicians in the delivery of quality improvement projects focused on enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction, redesigning care processes, improving the functionality and usability of the EHR systems, designing innovative patient education tools, developing complex case management protocols, etc. involving the development of innovative solutions and procedures to deal with complex problems with respect to the delivery of patient care services consistent with organizational objectives and longterm strategy.
  • Designs communication protocols and related policies for educating patients on medical history, patient prognosis, medical conditions, treatment options, selfmanagement strategies, lifestyle modifications, discharge instructions, etc. as per organizational processes to provide clear and understandable information and engage patients in their healthcare decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Designs standards, processes, and templates for the maintenance of accurate and confidential records and data including incident reports, quality improvement initiatives, patient communication documentation, privacy and security measures, etc. along with the associated reports and analytics to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement or intervention.
