This role in summary:

The Global Strategic Sourcing Associate Analyst will provide administrative support to the commodity managers and buyers in support of the end-to-end procurement process. Specifically the associate will support all quoting activities following Whirlpool's Enhanced Sourcing Process as well as assist on selected analysis and data collection tasks. General duties will include working directly in Whirlpool's GS3 system to manage all RFIs and RFPs and managing the corresponding supplier responses in support of the commodity managers and buyers. The associate will also distribute Change Notices and Windchill Packages.

Your responsibilities will include:

End-to-end management of sourcing events

Build RFIs and RFPs for each sourcing events, by category, using the GS3 tool including upfront data collection

Collect and input all the information required to create a sourcing project in the system

Work with Whirlpool's Windchill system to download technical drawings, work with buyers, engineering and legal team to complete review of drawings for IP information, revise drawings to create quotable drawings to be included in RFP events

Prepare RFP template with all relevant part details before loading into the GS3 system

Manage administrative supplier interaction during sourcing events

Collect information from all supplier responses and populate item detail template

Verify all information for each supplier, including code of conduct, NDA, and general terms and conditions

Follow up with suppliers and manage supplier responses

Assist buyers and sourcing analyst on selected analysis

Preliminary bid analytics and data consolidation

Initial summary of all bids received in GS3 including indication of key outliers

Distribute Change Notices and Packages to appropriate buyers

Utilize the Windchill system to locate newly released Change Notices and Packages

Identify buyer for all Change Notices and Packages and pass these along to them

Follow up with buyers and assist with resulting quoting events

Minimum requirements:

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management preferred)

Years of Experience

1+ years of work experience preferred, but not required:

Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain management preferred
