    What you will experience in this position :
    In this position, you will get to : Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a resilient supply chain and high supplier performance, resolving issues and supervising performance
    Align with US Indirect Sourcing to develop and implement long-term strategies for assigned Indirect categories to lower total cost of ownership
    Lead negotiation of supply and service agreements that are in line with nVent business strategies
    Reinforce the company's continuous improvement culture that promotes communication, shared learning, intelligent risk-taking, creative problem solving, and accountability
    Team with site functional leaders to lead and mitigate supplier risk, select and develop new suppliers, and categorize existing suppliers with lifecycle strategy
    Acts independently to identify and develop improvement opportunities for assigned categories
    Resolve all supplier related issues such as supply shortages, price increases, invoice and payment issues, etc
    Perform detailed supply market analysis related to categories, industries, and suppliers.

    You have :
    Bachelor's degree business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    3+ years' experience in Indirect Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Category Management in a manufacturing environment
    Excellence in contract negotiation and management including drafting, redlining, and ensuring adherence to contract service level agreements (SLAs)
    Project management skills to develop plans with action steps and timetables, meet deadlines, coordinate with cross functional teams, and handle multiple priorities
    Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment
    Proficiency in building and maintaining effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)
    Strong presentation, time management, organizational and influence skills
