- Coordinate with drivers to ensure all load delivery paperwork is collected on time
- Review and validate invoices by checking payment authorization, corporate policies and compliance of documentation requirements
- Audit invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness of paperwork / rate agreements
- Work with Dispatch and various outside providers to resolve billing issues.
- Provide weekly feedback to management via progress reports
- Follow-up on outstanding invoices and collect all payments
- Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments and other irregularities and update payments / reconciliation in QuickBooks.
- Investigate delinquent receivables accounts by communicating with customers via email and phone.
- Minimum of at least 6 months of billing experience
- Experience in transportation companies is desirable.
- Extensive experience with collection of payments and billing customers
- Business Administration Degree; or Completion of a college program
- Courses in bookkeeping, accounting or a related subject is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict resolution
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is a must
