Job Description:

Management of supplier claims process, including timely organization of containment actions to ensure availability of certified parts.
Followup of defect cost process and concessions management as per process.
Support on PPAP process and on supplier Quality improvement programs
Working with multidisciplinary teams
Quality Audits with suppliers & customers as leader, participant or representative (internal and externals).
Support with CIP projects
Follow Compliance and applicable automotive requirements and standards
Problem Solving
PBI developments and update (scrap, costs, etc) and Task Force leading.
Set up/ tracking local KPIs

Qualifications:

Able to work under pressure
Fluent in English
Proficient knowledge in problem solving methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5 whys, ProSo, Shainin, KT, 6 sigma or equivalent)
Core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA)
Mechanical components (drawings, tolerances, measurement methods, manufacturing process)
Intermediate knowledge in Quality standards (ISO9000, ISO/TS16.949, VDA
Basic Knowledge on customer requirements
Geometric Tolerances GD&T
Rigorous
Teamwork
Organized and structured
Analytical thinking
Communication and negotiation skills
Very Independent and selfmotivated

Additional Information

Required flexibility for traveling to suppliers
Graduated on Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar
Automotive industry, quality, purchased parts
Physically located majority of time at Guanajuato location, but weekly & frequent trips to Queretaro, Toluca or Hidalgo
