How will you make an impact? (Objective)
Solves complex problems coordinating or executing activities within an
engineering specialty such as industrial, electrical, electronics, mechanical,
Chemical, etc.


What will you do? (Responsibilities)

  • Possesses and applies knowledge on a wide variety of techniques, practices and procedures within an engineering specialty, which allow the solution of complex projects and problems that require analytical capability and initiative.
  • Can perform activities, such as: planning and scheduling activities and resources, analysis (Methods, measurements, machines, maintenance and materials).
  • Design of (products, processes, equipments, etc).
  • Project management and control (quality control, process equipment, etc).
  • Maintains the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the engineering function.
  • Participates in continuous improvement projects
Can provide training to interns.

  • Can researches, coordinates, prepares, and presents technical reports to departments, committees, commissions, propose ordinance and policy revisions.
  • Maintains liaison and coordinates work with other departmental sections,
Divisions and confers with advises departments regarding engineering projects.

  • In charge to develop and execute validation protocols and reports for new product development processes and establishes lay out equipment required to get the product completed.
  • Can participates as a member of the Lean and six sigma projects.
  • Prepares documentation required to implement and release ECO'S.
  • Gives support to engineering manager to attended observations of ISO 90001 and ISO 1348
  • Creates product cards for new products.
  • Can generate "machinery down time", efficiency and any other report requested by engineering manager or the maintenance supervisor.

How will you get here?


1- School Professional Level: Engineering Degree (electrical, electromechanical, industrial, mechanical, chemical (Desirable)) or equivalent work experience with more than 12 years of proficient experience in engineering position level.

2- Experience 3 to 5 years within engineering (Manufacturing systems, new product, introduction, process reengineering, maintenance, etc).

3- Intermediate English level. (Reading and comprehension).

4- Lean Manufacturing, 5 S's

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Kanban tools, PPI, ISO 90001 and ISO 1348
  • TOOLS/

EQUIPMENTS THAT OPERATES:
Computer, Measurement instruments, Autocad and Visio.
