MAIN FUNCTIONS:

1.

Executes activities that require the knowledge and use of fundamental concepts, procedures and practices within an Engineering specialty such as Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.


  • Can perform activities, such as planning and Scheduling Activities and Resources; Analysis (Methods and Measurements, Machines, Maintenance and Materials); Design (Product, Process, Equipment, etc.); Project Management and Control
(Quality Control, Process Control, etc.)

  • Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Engineering Function.

Requirements:

***- Engineering Degree (Electrical or Electronics or Electromechanical or Industrial, or Mechanical or Chemical, etc.).

  • 1 to 3 Years within the Engineering Department (Manufacturing Systems, New Products Introduction, Process Reengineering, Maintenance, etc.).
  • Intermediate English
  • Use of MS Office, AutoCad, Solid Works, Minitab

Experience Required:


  • Control plans
  • Knowledge of the 8D's
  • Analysis and solution of problems
  • Exp. Engineering Changes
Problem Solving Tools: 5 Why's, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Paretos, Process Mapping, PDCA.

  • Lean Manufacturing (Kaisen/7 waste/Standard Work/One piece flow/Continuous Flow/Kanban) OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency)
  • Corrective Actions
  • Line balancing
  • NPI
  • Core tools knowledge
  • Leadership of KAIZEN projects
