How will you make an impact?

Thermo Fisher Scientific is a company focused on making the world Healthier, Cleaner and Safer.**At the Tijuana IT Center of Excellence, you will be part of a SCRUM team that can deliver robust software solutions for multiple Business Partners of our Digital Marketing division.

In your role as Software Engineer, you will play a key role as member of an Agile SCRUM team that creates world-class digital merchandising experiences for our customers around the globe.

How will you get there?

Education, experience, skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering disciplines.
5+ Years of strong and robust Web Application development using Microsoft.

NET and Web Technologies.

Good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Backend Skills

5+ years of solid hands with Java, Python, C++, or C#.
Micro services development, build and deployment experience with CI/CD build pipelines.
Good database experience like SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Good experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
Experience working with Linux/UNIX.
Experience working with GIT.

Frontend Skills

5+ Years of experience working with Web 2.0 technologies: OO JavaScript, AJAX, JS Libraries (Angular, React, jQuery, etc).
Good experience of UI/UX development: CSS, LESS, SCSS, Bootstrap.
