Bonalto is an unconventional Startup that emerged in 2008.

We are experts in Full Ecommerce and we remain in the Top Seller of the most recognized Marketplaces such as Amazon and Mercado Libre.

We create comprehensive solutions for online sales and we take care of guaranteeing the success of the brands and suppliers that collaborate with us.

We are a small but strong team with an holacracy organization.

We work strategically and make things happen, which is why in 2020 we had a 300% growth in billing compared to the last year.


We currently have a billing goal of 10M dollars and our efforts are focused on attracting Investment Funds to continue promoting the expansion objectives.


About the Role
As M&A Origination Opportunity, you are responsible for identifying, evaluating, and closing attractive new Inversionist and brands. This role will have a high degree of leadership, responsibility, and autonomy. Your role will cover both new platform investing for Bonalto and add-on investing for these platforms.

You will work closely with our portfolio company CEOs, sourcing teams, and cross-functional teams at Bonalto during the investing process.


In this position you will be expected to lead the full deal process, including overseeing all diligence streams, authoring the investment thesis, and leading discussions with our Investment Committee.

You will report to Bonalto's Founder & Chief Future Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operation Officer.


You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:

  • Play a key leadership role in a small but fast-growing Ecommerce investing company.
  • Screening of potential targets (mainly in Mexico, also LATAM and Spain)
  • Analyse the companies' preliminary financials to assess fit
  • Build an extensive network with ecommerce sellers, brokers and other industry experts
  • Manage and analyse effectiveness of our sourcing approach, implement optimization measures
  • Attend weekly catchup meetings, reporting status quo to Chairman/CFO/Growth Director
  • Potentially assist with Due Diligence of the targets (financial, commercial & market environment)
  • Other operational tasks

  • You have strong analytical skills with great attention to detail, a datadriven person.
  • You are proactive and have good verbal communication (fluent in Spanish and English)
  • You have strong motivation and skills to convince founders of our business model and value proposition.
  • You have autonomy and organizational capacity.
  • You have experience in ecommerce, M&A and company/financial statement analysis (or strong interest) is highly valuable

Minimum requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Availability to travel
  • Track record of closing multiple deals, ideally in Mexico and USA
  • Strong interest in Ecommerce companies
