Responsibilities

LATAM Data Quality Business Sr Analyst

Main purpose


The role is for LATAM Data Quality Business Sr Analyst responsibilities including conducting a full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design.

Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Follow-up in IT projects where the essence or purpose of manufacturing master data is affected.

The data culture is a step change in our organization and achieving it requires clear and accessible processes, accountabilities, and standards.


Your Impact
As The LATAM Data Quality Business Sr Analyst your scope will consist of:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Document all data entry options for all fields that make up SCM Supply Chain Management, clearly defining that option and what impact that option will have on SAP functionality.
  • Support with root cause investigation of master datarelated issues and incidents with a view to updating standards, processes, and accountabilities to prevent repeat failures.
  • Locate and define new opportunities to improve manufacturing processes derived from data analysis.
  • Partner with accountable functions to list data sources for all Material Master fields.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Develop, deliver, and publish training materials and degree Pathways for all key roles in our data community. This will include Data Owners, Data Providers, and leadership roles.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to understand their concerns and actively participate in solution design and building.
  • Developing team through training and performance management.
  • Partner with accountable functions and facilitate the improvement of Data Quality for Material Master fields.
  • Grow the role two keys: Data Analyst and Data Scientist.
  • Manage risks, issues & changes impacting Master Data direct or indirect to the MOVE process and overall project if applicable.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Thorough understanding of SAP processes, in particular MOVE with 3 years of experience in:
  • 3+ years working in a team as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • 3+ years of experience in understanding master data objects like Material Master, and Bill Of Materials.
  • Strong analytical skills, as shown by the advanced use of data analysis tools and concepts.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Ability to understand complex data requirements and be able to identify and offer multiple solution options to facilitate the best outcome (e.g., automated transformation vs. manual enrichment).
  • 3+ years of experience in general knowledge of software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.).
  • Strong influencing, facilitating; and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments.
  • Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts, and provide clear documentation to the management and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines
