Staff Accountant II

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Responsible for assisting the controller in the day-to-day operations of the company.

Assisting in the maintenance of the general ledger by performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Support the month end close process including bank reconciliations, preparing, and posting JEs for payroll, prepaids, accruals and asset entries.
Manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable from process entry to payment.
Daily bank reconciliation and entry into NetSuite leading to month end final reconciliation.
Weekly process of Claims and Refunds, print checks.
Maintain and balance petty cash sales programs both monthly and weekly.
Liaison with Operations to record and process NSF's, chargebacks, and other merchant processor items.
Maintain orderly filing system; ensure all invoices scanned and recorded electronically; Assist other team members with ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
Perform administrative duties relating to filing, scanning, faxing, and mailing.
Assist in document preparation with the annual external audit.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
3+ years in accounting with strong AP and General Ledger presence.
Advanced in NetSuite.
Advanced in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Knowledge of GAAP, and experience with accrualbased accounting.
