The Quality Control Supervisor will be the one to ensure that all products meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the customer, IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 and the internal bill of materials and the company requierements

Tasks and Responsibilities

Supervise and work with AOI and Final QC operators/inspectors to maintain flow of product through the areas.
Work with Production Supervisors in ensure product is processed appropriately and flows through the factory efficiently.
Train Quality Control personnel as appropriate.
Ensure perform operation confirmations steps as appropriate.
Ensure that all components received are in compliance with IPC 600/610/620
Assist with First Article Inspections as needed.
Solve problems and suggest improvements to the Quality Assurance team or Quality Manager.
Assist with investigations into nonconformances related to both products and processes.
Monitor the work area for cleanliness, ESD compliance, etc.
Verify material traceability as required.
Maintain requested data/metrics for Lean/trending activities.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual 85%
Knowledge of IPC Standards relating to the acceptability of parts, PCBS, Wires and Cabling
Certified as CIS or CPT to IPC-A610 or passes certification to IPC-A610 as a CIS (desirable)
Preferable knowledge in IPC 620 and IPC 7711/772
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
Able to use microscopes, measuring devices such as calipers, scales, feeler gages, etc.), and other necessary tools
Knowledge in SAP
Must be a detail oriented, organized person able to work within a fastpaced production environment
2 years of experience performing related inspections is desired
Competent in use of the internet, Microsoft navigation, Excel and Word
