The Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) supports the Operations and Commercial teams for Unimacts. The SCS supports all aspects of the Unimacts order to delivery processes.

The SCS is responsible for reviewing Customer POs and in turn will convert these orders into supplier POs to our global team and supply base.

The SCS will collaborate with the Operations and Commercial Senior Executives, working with them to respond to all inquiries from customers and suppliers, regarding the status of product moving through the supply chain.

The SCS will reconcile orders, contracts, commercial and accounting documents and ensure accuracy for all buying and supply chain logistics planning needs.

The SCS will also be responsible for supply-demand matching and ensuring that the supply chain has a steady state supply of inventory in order to support JIT delivery to customers from multiple warehouse locations around the world.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong attention to detail, hands on, proactive, enjoys a fastpaced work environment.
• Passion for operational excellence and high quality of detailoriented work.
• Assisted in creating and tracking operational metrics for measurement of supply chain and inventory management performance.
• 35 years of buying, scheduling & planning within an industrial environment.
• Detailed knowledge of purchasing, incoterms, and global logistics operations.
• Coordinating Air Freight and Sea Export operations.
• Liaising with overseas offices / logistics partners to obtain rates and charges.
• Tracking and tracing shipments and updating clients with expected delivery schedule.
• Solid understanding of basic shipping and receiving processes from factories, warehouses, and other industrial facilities.
• Proficiency with demand and supply planning.
• High proficiency in the use of Excel, Databases, Outlook, and QuickBook and Fishbowl, a plus.
• Basic understanding of accounting processes
• POs, SOs, Invoices, packing lists, AP, AR, etc.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Purchasing and supply chain operations ability to manage a customer's order from PO to delivery.
• Experience working in a global environment, particularly with suppliers based out of India and Chinese operations.
• Ability to selfteach and take highlevel requirements and translate into clear and definitive actions
• Knowledge of Lean-Sigma and ISO 9000 philosophy and documentation.
• Two years or more of logistics and supply chain industry related experience.
• Multilingual
• Spanish and English
• Customs Experience a plus.
• Associates/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
