Position Summary


As a Business Systems Analyst you will partner with other members of the engineering team, product manager, product owner and business users to document business requirements and translate business requirements into logical and viable technical solutions.

They provide functional and technical expertise in evaluating, configuring, documenting, monitoring, and supporting systems and procedures that are cost effective and improve efficiency.

This role is embedded within an agile team and should be able to quickly adapt and adjust to shifting business priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Use functional decomposition to define highlevel epics and create user stories to maintain a wellorganized product backlog.
  • Design reliable and scalable technical solutions that meet business requirements and acceptance criteria and present technical solutions to the review board in the format of proof of concept (POC) or flow diagrams.
  • Be a specialist and advisor, to both internal and external partners, on Various SaaS Tools and the Cloud subscriptionbased business.
  • Actively participate in scrum team ceremonies such as backlog grooming, planning, retrospective, demo and daily standups.
  • Partner with enterprise architects and solution architects to design technical solutions that meet F5's service level standard and security requirements.
  • Understand business complexities and provide resolutions to user problems when they emerge.
  • Serve as an escalation point for internal customer support and product teams
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve technically complex issues and escalated customer technical issues to resolve the problem or qualify appropriately
  • Support Accounting and Finance group during month and quarter end activities.
  • Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Perform gap analysis to identify Oracle eBusiness suite/Oracle ERP cloud system configuration and development changes.
  • Create SQL queries against Oracle tables to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create adhoc reporting as needed.
  • Work with the business and development team to design and implement system modifications.
  • Work with business customers, developers and Oracle Support to research, document and resolve Oracle system issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:


  • BS degree in computer science, technology, engineering or similar field
  • 5 or more years of working experience in a business systems analyst, software Engineering or in an equivalent position.
  • 3 or more years of working experience required in independently supporting diverse enterprise platforms in the Oracle OrdertoCash area.
  • Functional knowledge of Oracle eBusiness suite R12.X, Oracle Cloud ERP in a multiorganization and multiset of books environment.
  • Knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables, integration points and technology processes are critical to success in this role.
  • Experience in engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Kanban, scrum.
  • Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience multiple software development methodologies/lifecycles required.
  • Technical certifications desirable, especially for Oracle Cloud and Zuora.
