Compliance Operations Manager

Locations:
Guadalajara (Mexico) or
Missisagua
(Canada).

Hybrid Work
Responsible for coordinating and managing Global Ethics & Compliance related projects. You will report into the Global Ethics & Privacy Enablement & Innovation Centre (EPIC).

This is a truly 'hands on' position, working to facilitate tangible compliance improvements from analysis and design through to implementation.

You can demonstrate a successful track record of delivering projects and have an innovative, forward thinking approach. You are able to learn at pace to understand the complex and simplify for your audience. You have an enterprise mindset, can drive change and think both strategically and creatively.


Typical Accountabilities:


Coordinating with Compliance, the business, GBS, IT and vendors as appropriate to ensure high quality and timely execution of projects.


Your role will include the followings:

  • Planning and implementation of Ethics &Compliance projects, including:
  • Clearly defining project scopes and goals with sponsors
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders when defining and delivering solutions
  • Managing the procurement process for external suppliers
  • Assessing resource requirements
  • Tracking budgets for project work
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines
  • Ensuring the effective roll out of project solutions
  • Proactively soliciting feedback and utilising metrics to measure success
  • Representing EPIC on crossdepartmental and cross SET projects
  • Managing the pipeline of Global Ethics & Compliance related projects
  • Participating in the management and maintenance of a strong change control process throughout the duration of Projects
  • Identifying opportunities to scale solutions to the whole of the function or beyond
  • Supporting the implementation of new tools, systems and processes within the function
  • Providing regular reporting on status of projects, including communications and engagement on new tools and business wins in this area.
  • Developing strong and influential relationships across the organisation
  • Managing relationships with external providers where appropriate
  • Tracking project performance
  • Maintaining project specification documentation, from scoping to implementation and training
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 23 years of experience running complex business projects
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, leadership and influencing able to influence without authority commanding respect through actions
  • Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problemsolving skills able to find pragmatic solutions with an analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to convey complex concepts in simple terms
  • Full proficiency communicating in English in a business context (verbally & in writing)
  • Proven capacity to prioritise and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
Desirable

  • Compliance / regulatory related project experience would be advantageous
  • Recognised project management qualification
  • Previous involvement in managing change
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to synthesize work products into executive summaries and/or briefs and reports
