Your Role
At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected. Our System Engineer are responsible for ensuring that the products and technology meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will manage customer communication, requirements, and expectations throughout the product development lifecycle.

Your day to day will consist of the following:

Design, develop, and validate new products and technology
Ensure that system features and deliverables are completed on time per Aptiv quality standards
Follow APTIV design standards, guidelines, best practices, procedures and policies
Lead feature definition and requirement reviews
Ensure the logical and systematic transformation of requirements into a total system solution
Contribute to requirement analysis, system architecture, and feature integration / verification
Convert customer requirements into product requirements and design specification
Ensure proper development, execution and verification across all engineering competencies

Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline

3+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive Industry
-
Bilingual - proficient in English speaking/reading/writing*

Proven record of taking customer requirements from design to production
Knowledge of programming (C or other language)
Familiarity with embedded systems designs
Familiarity with microprocessor/controller based hardware designs, System/Software Architectures for automotive designs, and network topology
