    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating build, infrastructure, and software configuration management (SCM) related tasks.

    You will work closely with both Software Development and IT Operations groups to ensure that the final releases are up to organizational standards and are released successfully without negative impact to our Customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, maintain, and support high-quality in-house software build systems for Enterprise class software
    • Create automated pipelines to continuously deliver value to clients
    • Design, create, and maintain automated pipelines to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    • Provide guidance and tutoring on best practices, tool use, and DevOps principles to other team members
    • Implement source code control management best practices
    • Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure processes and project objectives are met
    • Contribute to ongoing improvements of implementation standards, methods, and procedures for DevOps best practices

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps/SCM engineer or in a similar position
    • Strong knowledge of n-tier web applications
    • Experience with Cloud IaaS and PaaS software implementations, preferably Azure
    • Experience with Cloud container orchestration services, preferably Kubernetes and Docker
    • Proficiency with Build and Release tools, preferably Azure DevOps
    • Scripting language proficiency, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with a focus on Cloud (Azure CLI)
    • Infrastructure as Code tools proficiency, such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager
    • Knowledge of core networking concepts, including DNS, VNET, Load Balancing, Firewall, and WAF
    • Capability to support a software development team's timelines and targets
    • Desire to be a strong team player

    Bonus Requirements

    • Experience managing Databricks workspaces and configurations in a CI/CD pipeline
    • Experience with monitoring tools, such as Datadog, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights
    • Experience with Machine Learning/AI services, preferably Azure AI

    Education

    BS or BA Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 3+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
