QA Software Engineer Job Description

As a QA Software Engineer at Thermofisher-Scientific, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.

About You:

• You have a strong background in software development with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• You possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to make informed decisions about automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various frameworks such as Rest Assured, Karate, Playwright etc.
  • Participate actively in scrum ceremonies including daily standups, story grooming etc. 
  • Communicate technical details effectively to other specialists
  • Continuously identify ways to automate feature testing & establish measurable goals
