Intern Embedded Software Engineer:

POSITION SUMMARY**Assist Software Development Engineers or Software Verification & Validation Engineers in the development and testing of automotive electronic modules or instrument clusters. Work under the direction of a software engineering mentor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in a team of software engineers in the development of realtime software to be embedded in automotive modules.
Learn software testing process and use of laboratory test tools
Understand the requirements of OEM in order to test electronic modules
Provide documentation of test results and analysis
Follow software project plans, schedules, and action items.
Participate in the improvement of personal and departmental capabilities.
Support flash programming and calibration of electronic modules

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Organization, communications, and documentation ability.

Degree Requirements:
Full-time student in a Bachelor program for Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Certification Requirements:

Previous Experience:
None required

Use of Microsoft Office tools to document test reports and analysis helpful
Skill with C and C++, Object Oriented Design with UML a plus

Travel Requirements:
Travel is unlikely

On-Call Requirements:
Limited
