We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager with expertise in TikTok, Instagram videos, and Facebook posts to lead our social media efforts at TripShepherd.

As a Senior Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies, creating compelling content, and driving audience engagement and growth across our social channels.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with TripShepherd's brand identity, objectives, and target audience.
  • Create engaging and visually captivating content for TikTok, Instagram videos, and Facebook posts to showcase TripShepherd's unique offerings, tell compelling travel stories, and connect with our audience.
  • Plan and manage social media content calendars, including content themes, posting schedules, and engagement strategies to maintain a consistent and engaging presence across platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries, and engage with followers to build community, foster relationships, and drive positive sentiment.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, KPIs, and audience insights to measure effectiveness, track trends, and optimize content strategies for maximum reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously innovate content creation, improve content quality, and drive audience growth.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing, design, content, and analytics to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies, campaigns, and business goals.
  • Oversee social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads Manager and TikTok Ads to drive traffic, leads, and conversions, and optimize ad performance based on data insights.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, Senior Social Media Specialist, or similar role, with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook in the travel, tech, or related industry.
  • Strong creative skills with a portfolio of successful social media campaigns, videos, and content that demonstrate storytelling prowess, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.
  • Experience in social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager and TikTok Ads, with the ability to create, manage, and optimize ad campaigns to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to craft compelling messaging and narratives.
  • Strategic thinking, problemsolving skills, and ability to translate business objectives into effective social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Passion for travel, technology, and social media marketing, with a strong understanding of social media trends, user behavior, and digital marketing best practices.
