Production Line Leader - Castables

About the job
RHI Magnesita is seeking a Production Line Leader - Castables. This role will sit in Tlalnepantla, MX. This position will be the "right hand" to the Head of Production Manager

The role is for responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods.

This position will assist with all relevant tasks and independently develop projects for savings and process optimization

The Production Line Leader - Castables will travel both domestically and internationally with about 10% travel time

The Production Line Leader - Castables' tasks include:

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Programming and followup of activities in masses and mortars area.
Ensure the correct use of equipment
Ensure compliance with product quality
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Control and followup of performance indicators
Supervision and administration of unionized personnel
Development of improvement projects in process
Followup of evaluations, payroll and attendance of personnel in charge

About you

Do you have:

35 years of experience as a production supervisor or similar position
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Materials or related
Personnel administration and management (at least 20 people)
Proficient with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Training in ISO 45001 / 1400
English is required (intermediate

- advanced)

Resource management
Knowledge of production metrics (OEE, HH/T, Scrap, Lean Manufacturing)
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
General knowledge in areas of Safety, Quality, Maintenance in manufacturing industry is preferred
Knowledge in SAP is a plus
Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
Oriented to continuous improvement and achievement of results
Problem solving
Availability of time
