    ResponsibilitiesPayroll Specialist Position Responsible for processing the US and Puerto Rico payrollReviewing and auditing all payroll output for accuracy according to checklists and tolerancesReviewing and validating all payroll entries madeProcessing any adjustments and/or correction of errors found during auditing and ensuring all calculations are accurateResponsible for the transmission of payroll bank filesPrepare and process off-cycles as needed and according to the off-cycle payroll policyWork closely with HR Operations and key stakeholders to ensure that all payrolls are delivered on time and accurately for assigned countries and locationsMaintain communications with HR Business Partners in the event of overpayment recoveries, final pay statutes, and any other scenarios affecting regular paymentDrive appropriate and consistent local and regional payroll processes towards standardizationMaintain and expand knowledge of country-specific legislation and complianceCommunicate regularly with team members and leadWork closely with payroll provider ADP to ensure effective payroll service deliveryCollaborate in driving controls and operational excellence including, but not limited to, segregation of duties, audit and compliance programsCollaborate in the creation of metrics and higher-level reportsHandle payroll-related case requests within established SLAsActively participate in global and local payroll projects as requiredAdministration of year-end activities related to payroll tax filing and reporting, collaborating with the US Tax Specialist on the US payroll team.

    Reports to the Americas Payroll LeadAny other payroll duty requested by the Americas Payroll LeadQualificationsQualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in related field (Admin or similar)

    Three to five years of related experience in Payroll Processing (any country is accepted). Experience with US payroll processing a plus, Celanese will train on thisExperience with payroll transition and implementation desiredExcellent research and problem-solving skillsFlexible, capable to work under fast-paced and high stress environmentsAbility to plan, organize, and manage time to meet rigid payroll processing deadlinesAbility to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame and maintain accuracyProficient in a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint for WindowsExperience in ADP Global View and ETimeIndispensable oral and written English communication skillsMaintain a positive attitude and ability to work well with othersProfessional work ethic, respectful of other team membersWillingness to learn and is a fast learnerLocation:
    Mexico City, Hybrid model with 3 days at the office and 2 from home (including Friday)
