About the Job


Based in Queretaro Boots Plant, you will develop South America market for Boots, contact and maintain relation with customers, make quotation to win new business, handle daily commercial communication & documentation, and track account receivable.

To perform his role, you will be communicating with Sales & Engineering offices in France and in North America, and all the Business Unit.

You will report to America Region Business Development Manager.

  • Investigate market, develop local network, contact and visit customers, understand customers' requirements
  • Get RFQ opportunities from customers and make quotations
  • Work with engineering to develop new program and control lead time, and be the technical liaison with Project Management team in France as well as North American factory
  • As major contact window of company, follow up & commercially support other teams, coordinate internally and externally to solve issues
  • Ensure good & efficient communication with customers, and take part in processing some customer complaints when necessary (8D analysis)
  • In charge of material selection per customer requirements with consideration of material cost
  • Supervise and support testing, both internally and at customer
  • Responsible for project management, including coordination of APQP to customer timelines, implementation of project work based on IATF 16949 certification and leading engineering change requests (design changes, specifications adjustments, part production transfer, etc.)
  • Periodical sales & market report to management
  • Other works assigned by management

_ Education and experience_:

Mechanical engineering degree, technical background, excellent skills in Microsoft software's (Excel, Word, PPT etc.) Molding & plastics experience preferred

4 to 8 years in commercial or project management working experience in automotive/mechanical industry.


_ Competencies_:

Good communication skill, effective negotiation skills and problem-solving skill

Proficient Spanish & English speaker & writer, able to work in multicultural environment


_ Key interfaces_:


Internally:
BU Management team and Mexico/USA Boots team, support departments (HR, Admin, logistics, Finance) of Salisbury plant (USA), BU & sites engineering teams


Externally:
customers, competitors, local government

***This role will cover America region market, and particularly south America customers. Frequent travel to Mexico based customers by car, up to 50%. Some travel to US and France as needed.
