We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our HRS team

As a Payroll Specialist you'll be responsible for provide excellent customer service to all customers of HRS, adhere to Global Data Privacy rules and building reports, participate in training of new HRS Admin and actively participate in all team/department meetings and activities.


Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Manage daytoday Payroll and Benefits Operations for a country.
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance to internal control and statutory legislation.
  • Provide expertise on local payroll policy.
  • Handle escalated payroll related queries.
  • Approve, reject, resubmit or escalate transactions based on policies and guidelines.
  • Perform regular checks on system changes; monitor and identify points of departure and execute necessary corrections.
  • Support delivery of reports within scope.
  • Respond to external/internal requests for information.
  • Actively identify improvements according to LEAN ways of working.
  • Process tax withholdings and payments.
  • Work within a team while also providing support (eg. mentorship, process, improvements).
  • Works within defined processes and procedures and gives advice on processes inside and outside the assigned work.

Knowledges & Critical Experience

  • Work experience in payroll
  • Expertise with Local Legislation as Labor,
  • Computer literacy (eg. Excel, HR Systems, CMS)
  • Experience in HR Shared Services
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR processes and policies.
  • Experience in processoriented environment
  • Exposure to basic quality controls
  • Experience with handling confidential data

We are looking for:


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience in processing payroll
  • Experience in SUA
  • SAP HR system knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR processes and policies.
  • Effective listening and communication skills, and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to answer queries on own initiative by effective use and interpretation of relevant data/available information.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload, and ability to multitask is essential
  • Computer literacy
  • Experienced with Case Management tools and HR IT systems.
