    Position Description:

    • Responsible for the financial planning of Elanco's major livestock species (Cattle Beef & Dairy, Swine and Poultry) and Companion Animal products across Mexico. This Affiliate within LATAM organization is responsible for over $120 million in revenue (Elanco Bayer Legacy) for our company.
    • In addition, support the development and sustainability of Affiliates business and strategic plans, Financial Business Partnering, Order to Cash, Pricing & Rebates, Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Compliance and People Management.
    • Responsible to oversee financial and operational processes & controls in order to sustain an appropriate level of financial Compliance, and to help local organization to sustain an appropriate level of Governance within

    Affiliate Financial Business Partnering:

    • Lead the affiliate business planning & forecasting processes in cooperation with commercial business partners and regional finance;
    • Provide proactive financial leadership in the local management team by developing analytical and financial insight for all important long and short-term decisions, including resource allocation outcomes and processes, investments, and external partnerships;
    • Analyze operating results and proactively identify areas of potential concern, initiating corrective action when necessary, and identify innovative ways to improve profitability;
    • Drive cross-functional decision-making and implementation of business strategy through close monitoring of key initiatives;
    • Support local supply chain forecasting and sponsor the achievement or corporate targets related to forecast accuracy, missed sales value, and inventory losses; Order to Cash, Pricing & Rebates:
    • Manage and/or oversee all Order to Cash activities from order management to billing and collections via a combination of local, ESC and TCS team members;
    • Support the definition and execution of the affiliate pricing strategy, and drive pricing governance in line with local and regional pricing policies;

    Manage customer rebates:
    ensure timely & accurate provision and payment process, and continuously review and improve the rebate system structure and process to maximize leverage while ensuring compliance with legal and corporate guidelines; Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Compliance:

    • Manage and supervise all financial & statutory accounting activities for all legal entities within the affiliate or cluster, including commercial, manufacturing and R&D operations as applicable.
    • Ensures compliance with all tax reporting requirements including income tax, franchise tax, sales tax, and employment taxes
    • Ensure compliance with sourcing and P2P guidelines, as well as timely payment of suppliers and accurate documentation and accounting;
    • Develop reliable cash flow projection and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs of the legal entities
    • Manage working capital (e.g. DSO, DOI) in line with corporate targets
    • Manage local banking relationships as required
    • Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local financial and statutory requirements
    • Act as the representative of the legal entities in case of internal and external audits (statutory, tax)
    • Act as Director of the legal entities within the affiliate and cluster, assuming fiduciary responsibilities in front of local authorities People management
    • Hire, coach, develop and discipline/terminate employees to ensure compliant financial operations (O2C, P2P, Accounting, Tax, Treasury) with strong business support (FP&A) while building a highly qualified, motivated and engaged team;
    • Allocate resources appropriately to meet the changing needs of the business Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):
    • Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related practice (required)
    • MBA in Finance, Economics, Management or Supply Chain (required)
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of functional & leadership experience (required)
    • Local and international travel, as necessary (required)
