About the Role


Transplace, an Uber Freight company, is looking for experienced customer service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or logistics.

Our specialists will manage transportation functions to ensure accurate contact with carriers to obtain status of load-tendered; continue monitoring the shipment for on-time pick-up, transit, delivered and empty while providing excellent customer service to our customers.


  • Additional Responsibilities Regarding Customer and Carrier Relationships
  • Appointment Scheduling/Schedule appointments with shipper and/or receiver, update the TMS as needed and communicate with Logistics Specialist
  • Communicate any service issues to customer and team
  • Identify and update status on which Carrier missed pickup or delivery; provide sufficient comments for communication to customer
  • Monitor and troubleshoot any problems to ensure on time service
  • Proactively notify Shipper and/or Receiver of Load Status and reschedule pickup/delivery appointments when necessary
  • Update load status in system, e.g., loaded, pickup, delivery, empty, etc.
  • Update TMS with notes with any issues that may occur
  • Utilize TMS to actively manage ontime performance and automation objectives

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience not required
  • Basic Math (Includes aptitude to learn how to calculate mileage as it relates to the passage of time)
  • Advanced Spanish and English written, oral, and presentation communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Freight Industry
  • Microsoft Excel— knowledge of Microsoft Excel including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas
  • 1 Years of customer service experience
