Scheduler Operator:


Main activities:


  • Ensure the correct batch execution over the different schedulers handled in the area taking responsibility to keep in time and correct the daily execution in shifts 24x 7 taken the activities in the different shift to cover.
  • Participate in the area initiatives and collaborations with the global team in order to have the ability to perform the global activities.
Requirements


Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge about the Control-M workload, handling the monitor view, and knowledge about actions con the Current plan (hold, release, modification, kill, delete, conditions)
  • Knowledge like scheduler over Control M planning, calendars, scheduler, postprocessing.
  • Basic knowledge of Control M administering
  • Its needed Basic knowledge over the linux system operating
  • Knowledge about the principles IWS scheduler ability to performed the activities required in the current plan like order, rerun, delete, move dependencies, triggers.
  • Basic knowledge over AS400 scheduler and platform.
  • Desirable knowledge over the scheduler CA
  • Know and live the agile principles to work in the day to day, knowledge about the events on agile (daily standup,restrospective, etc.).
  • High English language skills to have ability to speak and understand, to read and transmit an idea in this language in a documents or meetings situations.
  • Basic knowledge over SPSF mainframe
  • Knowledge and experience to handle of JIRA, Confluence tools.
  • Strong experience in the monitoring and follow batch processes over Control M, IWS scheduling tools during 3 years at least.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with stakeholders (internal as well as external)
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in an aggressive, multitasking environment
  • Contribute productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • Able to develop positive relationships. Establish a rapport with customers & achieve mutual trust and respect.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, deal with competing priorities
  • Excellent decision making & problem solving skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent organizational & prioritizing skills.
  • Good understanding of Service Management Processes of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management
  • Experience of working within an IT Environment
  • Adaptable and quick learner an advantage
  • Working with the agile way of working as the day to day, participating in the ceremonies and working with the JIRA issues.
  • Ability to work under press and high volume of workload
  • High ability to learn new topics, and capacity to share the knowledge to the partners in the team
  • High understanding in English language
  • Control M, IWS or CA7 Operator certifications.
