- Product Development: Deliver innovative products with a strong design that aligns with consumer demands. Key responsibilities include leading, decision-making, executing action plans, providing information, and assessing risks. Collaborate with R&D, Innov Comm, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering teams.
- Collaborate in the setting of product innovation agenda in AOP and SDD: Participate in creating and executing feasibility studies, risk assessments, technology options, and product proposals. Interact with R&D, Innov Comm, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Finance.
- Productivity: Generate ideas and proposals, develop and implement projects to reduce costs, enhance processes, and explore alternative ingredients/suppliers. Engage with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure product design integrity through various tools and programs (consumer testing, reformulations, new supplier validations, business continuity, CQA program, etc.). Lead initiatives and collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Project Management: Coordinate project activities, resources (people and budget), and timelines to ensure all initiatives are on schedule with technical deliverables in place and well-documented. Engage with R&D, Innov Comm, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Portfolio Transformation: Drive and execute reformulation product initiatives to meet internal or external guidelines/regulations, ensuring design and compliance. Collaborate with R&D, Innov Comm, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Pilot Plant Management: Oversee the management of the Pilot Plant in Tech Center, ensuring deliverables and functionality align with the platforms/categories agenda. Engage with R&D, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering teams.
- CapEx Program: Coordinate and ensure CapEx execution in Tech Center with Platforms and Finance. Interact with R&D, Finance, and Engineering teams.
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape of the snacks category to propose compelling strategies based on global or local trends, as well as monitor competitors to drive improvement actions.
- Food Engineering/Food Chemistry/Food Technology/Process Engineering bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years in Research and Development (food industry)
- Proficient in snacks (salty/confectionary) technologies (TC, PC, Extrusion, Pellet, Popcorn, N&S, Confectionary)
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
- 5-8 years of product development experience
- Advanced English language communication skills
- Knowledge of finances and cost analysis
- Proficiency in statistics
- Understanding of raw materials functionality
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong skills in Leadership, Negotiation, Effective Communication, and Networking

ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity:
Lead and ensure the development and execution of the Extrusion/CC/Pellet/Pork categories under Innovation, Portfolio Transformation, Brand Maintenance, and Productivity pillars. Manage the pilot plant and CapEx program in Tech Center R&D site, while coaching and developing team members to enhance their professional and personal growth.
