UI (React) Developer

Contract Duration:
Long Term

Work Hours:
US timezone (PST)

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Position Type:
Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Jest

Nice to have:
Sass, Redux-Observable/Epics, Styled-Components, Storybook, Typescript

General Summary:

Responsibilities:

Create technical specifications based on functional requirements.
Build out features in a crossfunctional, agile environment in which all functions are

involved in various levels throughout the feature creation and ideation process.

Perform basic support and debugging in test and production environments.
Identify and escalate problems.

Requirements:

Extensive expertise in React, Redux, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS
Strong understanding of frontend development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and crossbrowser compatibility.
Proven experience in writing unit tests using Jest or similar testing frameworks.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Sound knowledge of RESTful API Principles
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

Familiarity with Sass, Redux-Observables and Epics, Styled-Components, and Storybook.
Experience with Typescript.
Experience working in Digital Media based environments
