    ¿Qué necesitas para aplicar?
    • Estar actualmente inscrito en un programa de licenciatura relacionado a Ingeniería Química, Ingeniería Industrial o área afín y tener al menos año y medio pendiente para terminar tus estudios.
    • Haber mantenido una calificación media superior o igual a 3,7 sobre 5,0 o el equivalente en tu país.
    • Tener un nivel avanzado de inglés oral y escrito.
    • Tener el permiso legal de trabajar sin restricciones en el país que has solicitado.
    • Estar preparado para participar en diferentes actividades y proyectos, siendo responsable de ellos y teniendo una voz activa para formar parte del equipo y de la organización a gran escala.

    Sobre la posición

    Como pasante de procura de proveedores químicos en Baker Hughes, aprenderás y comprenderás las necesidades de compras de todo el negocio de Baker Hughes y desarrollarás una base de proveedores mexicanos como una solución para esas necesidades (+$500 millones de dólares).

    Las actividades incluyen la búsqueda de proveedores de productos químicos principalmente. Crearás un directorio de proveedores e incorporarás proveedores en nuestro sistema.

    Selecciónarás y evaluarás proveedores para satisfacer las necesidades de compra de la demanda global de Baker Hughes, especialmente en Norteamérica y LATAM.

    Aprenderás a preparar solicitudes de cotización (RFQ), comprender costos y negociar precios con proveedores.

    Comprenderás los requisitos técnicos clave para identificar a los proveedores adecuados a los que enviárselos.

    Interactuarás con proveedores para brindar cotizaciones de manera oportuna, así como con ingeniería y abastecimiento en las instalaciones de EE. UU. para aclarar cualquier pregunta.

    Aprenderás y aplicarás técnicas y análisis de costos para trabajar con proveedores para alcanzar costos óptimos y ayudar a Baker Hughes a optimizar los gastos.

    Aprenderás y deberás respaldar las calificaciones técnicas de los proveedores, así como el envío de muestras para aprobaciones de laboratorio.

    Se te pedirá que apoyes principalmente productos químicos, pero también no-metálicos y plásticos; mientras comprendes diferentes procesos de fabricación, como la capacidad de mecanizado CNC (tornos, fresas), inyección de plástico, forja y líneas de ensamblaje.

    Al mismo tiempo, aprenderás a leer dibujos y especificaciones técnicas y podrás relacionar los paquetes de RFQ con los proveedores adecuados.

    Aprenderás los procesos de abastecimiento en Baker Hughes, aprenderás a auditar proveedores en el Sistema de Gestión de Calidad y nuestro Programa de Responsabilidad Social.

    Aprenderás y deberás evaluar las capacidades técnicas, de producción y de inspección de los proveedores, así como sus productos.

    Comprenderás la posición estratégica del proveedor como complemento del modelo de negocio de Petróleo y Gas.

    Reconocerás los requisitos técnicos por producto:

    1. Productos químicos, reactores, materias primas.
    2. Proceso No-Metálico, plásticos y hules.

    Se te pedirá que ejecutes análisis para monitorear las compras en EE. UU. y LATAM y realices un "análisis de gastos" para identificar oportunidades de deflación y comparar compras de alto potencial para proveedores mexicanos.

    Se te pedirá que administres bases de datos y directorios y crees presentaciones de la base de proveedores disponibles en México.

    Interactuarás con varios proveedores en México y se te pedirá que interactúes con los diferentes niveles del proveedor, desde los propietarios hasta los Gerentes Generales, Gerentes de Ventas, Personal de Calidad, Producción e Ingeniería.

    Interactuarás con el equipo de abastecimiento global, incluidos compradores, gerentes de abastecimiento, líderes mundiales de productos básicos e ingenieros de calidad de abastecimiento.
