The Plant Director at Donaldson's Monterrey Mexico plant will have an opportunity to lead and transform one of Donaldson's Industrial Solutions manufacturing locations.

This position is ideal for someone driven to develop talent and teams, lead operational excellence transformation, and develop and deploy strategic plans.

Prior experience working within the Monterrey area and in a union, environment would be beneficial for this role.

This high-impact plant director role is a prime opportunity to come in and put your signature on a very important location for Donaldson.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and transform the manufacturing operations into a worldclass, highperforming facility as the primary responsibility for a manufacturing facility and accountability for overall performance to business targets.
  • Ensures a strong and effective culture within the plant in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability. Leads leaders in Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain within the manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure the factory operates safely and drives a positive safety culture.
  • Develops and manages the plant's operational financial budget meeting manufacturing cost and inventory expectations.
  • Develop strategic plans incorporating break though objectives to drive continuous sustainable improvements.
  • Develops and champions a highly engaged and accountable workforce.
  • Develops and recommends short and longrange plans concerning factory space, capital investments, staffing, and other resources.
  • Develops and maintains a favorable employee relations climate and community relations.
  • Maintains all plant buildings, equipment, and grounds. Assures company compliance with all appropriate regulations.
  • Keeps informed of new developments and techniques in production processes and related plant operations and implements those that can improve operating results.
  • Plant director with overall responsibility and accountability for daytoday operations and responsibility for executing the manufacturing strategy to develop our operations, in support of our growth plan in the region.
  • Operate to manage and control operations of the plant in such a way that ensures IAF meets its shortterm financial and operational objectives.
  • Grow the plant from the situation today to $30$60M facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field 8+ years of experience in similar 35 years of metal fabrication operations management experience (i


e:

Aerospace, Trains, wagons, etc).- Experience championing Lean/Six Sigma projects


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience in ERP systems, preferably Oracle 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing process improvements
  • Experience working with unions.
  • Experience working in Metal fabrication plants in Monterrey Mexico Area
  • APICS/ASCM certification
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification(s)
