    Overview Waters Corporation's Field Services Organization is comprised of highly skilled, motivated and customer focused professionals that are technical experts on Waters' product suite.

    As a Field Service Specialist, working for an industry leader, you'll join a global team of specialists that are crucial to ensure Waters' legendary service for our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software.

    In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide technical expertise on Waters' innovative product suite of our Mass Spectrometer product line including tandem quadrupole and time of flight instruments - as well as support other solutions across all product lines including LC, Software, Consumables and Services for multiple customer laboratories spanning across the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Chemical Materials, Clinical, Food, Environmental, Forensics, Academia and Government industries.

    Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and customer-focused individual to join our renown Field Services Organization in the Latin America Distributors area.

    Responsibilities Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot and support Waters' product suite of Mass Spectrometer product line including tandem quadrupole and time of flight instruments along with LC, HPLC / UPLC, InformaticsPerform customer trainings in technical applications such as : Nitrosamines, Pesticides, Drugs of abuse, Oligo'sTravel to different countries in the Latin America region at least 40% of the timeCoordinate directly with the Distributor and Customer installations and applications trainingEstablish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers ensuring their successManage customer expectations, by communicating work performed and providing follow up plan if neededEnsure customer compliance regulations are followedDeliver system level training at customer sitesManage service inventory according to Waters policiesIssue field service reports daily to document work performedWeekly updates and keep calendar up to dateMaintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers' application demandsWork with Sales team in respect to identifying future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales and training opportunitiesEnsure that quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are always adhered toQualifications Degree BS / Master / PHD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field of scienceAt least 5 years Mass Spec experience, UPLC, HPLC, field service support including installation, performance maintenance and troubleshooting, or MS application knowledgeValid Passport / Visa is mandatoryAbility to perform effective system level troubleshootingEffective system level approach to problem solvingBasic knowledge of GxP and Pharmaceutical EnvironmentComputer and acquisition systems experience (Windows, Empower, MassLynx,Waters Connect, Progenesis)
