Responsibilities:

This role will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of Citi by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterprise
Responsible for the daily management of security functions at the Citi facility or Citi occupied property assigned to by the Area Security Manager.
Direct and oversee security and safety activities of site security staff. Enact supervision and management in an effort to safeguard premises and employees against risk of unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism, and opportunities for criminal activities.
Assist security staff in enforcing security rules and safety standards and review securityrelated problems and ensure that appropriate measures to correct procedures in effort to reduce risk and exposure to risk
In consultation with Area Security Manager, escalate serious infractions to site management for further review and action.
Assist Area Security manager with training, Operational readiness exercises and ensure that security personnel are well practiced and rehearsed in the execution of security operations, drills, assignments and the day

- to-day functioning of security systems.

Report any issues with CSIS systems and equipment to ensure a state of perpetual readiness enough to meet or surpass requirements of both internal and/or external audits.
Manage contingent and contract staff at various Citi facilities, sites and branches
Clearly and concisely brief management on ongoing major security matters and does so in a professional manner

Qualifications:

25 years relevant experience
Managed team of security professionals and contingent staff or managed security program/projects
Executed efficiently under tight time constraints
Established effective relationships with senior business leaders and internal partners
Collaborated with peers, leadership teams and industry contacts to understand risk profiles of properties within span of control
Facilitated complex security projects that have regional consequences as well as criminal or regulatory implications
Has demonstrated indepth understanding of the elements of a security & safety risk and control environment
Identifies and remediates weaknesses in security activities
Has demonstrated a broad understanding of security vulnerabilities
Experience with understanding potential security or safety threats (e.g., fire, executive protection), local threats based on geographic location and their impact
Demonstrated understanding of risk management and innovatively develops solutions and makes suggestions to senior management to mitigate risks
Participated in critical resource evaluations of staff to raise operational effectiveness and efficiency
Relevant experience in a private/public sector security environment
Experience working in a corporate or financial services security team
Domestic Travel
Flexibility to work on call off hours/weekends

Education:

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
