What you need to know about the role:

Venmo is looking for a Quality Engineer to champion the quality assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer Wallet Web, iOS and Android Consumer Apps.

Venmo is a mobile first company, and it's crucial to ship high quality features to our end users. Our team define quality processes and supports bug free release and maintenance of all major features across Venmo.

You will play a key role in instilling quality first and quality ownership mindset and help improve quality and automation across various products.

Your way to impact:

You will help test and release quality features as part of Venmo App to our customers.

Help improve automation coverage by automating high priority test cases and partner with development teams to monitor and improve automation metrics.

Promote team ownership of quality and enable others to test and own all aspects of quality like feature testing, automation, E2E testing, test case optimization, and regression.

Your day to day:

In your day to day role you will:

Ensure high priority initiatives quality by reviewing design and requirements, writing comprehensive test cases, defining test strategy, and testing features to release best quality products to end users.
Automate UI automation tests and help improve the automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline.
Be part of an agile scrum team and participate in scrum rituals.
Support successful biweekly release of Venmo Mobile App

What do you need to bring:

4+ years of experience in testing with recent experience in mobile app testing
Mobile UI automation or IOS development experience using Swift / XCUITest
Tools: Xcode, JIRA, Github, IOS and Android mobile devices and emulators, GHA, Postman
Always ready to learn and pick up new challenges, with a proven track record adopting and mastering new tools.
Excellent understanding of testing methodologies: Acceptance Testing, Integration Testing, Interface Testing, Mocking, End to End testing, Production testing.

Pay:
$630, $820,000.00 per year
