A Snapshot of Your Day
The EC Hub Lead is responsible for managing the Project Entity (PE) Erection & Commissioning (EC) Regional Hub (Department) for Mexico


How You'll Make an Impact
-
Managing lawful and timely abroad delegations:

  • Having cost responsibility for the EC Hub (jointly with the commercial counterpart)
  • Disciplinary management of all EC colleagues in the Hub
  • Handling personnel hiring contracts and service contracts (jointly with commercial counterpart) required for delegation of field staff. Implementation of EC relevant procedures, guidelines, and instructions.
  • Team development management (jointly with Line Manager). Performance management and reviews (jointly with Line Manager). Productivity management (jointly with Line Manager)
  • Determination of charge rate (yearly, jointly with commercial counterpart)
  • Travel expenses approvals, time sheet management. Process improvements.
  • Leading recruitment of EC colleagues for the Hub and their onboarding (on request and jointly with Line Manager). Communication with global EC Management, Global Mobility Services (GMM) and other Siemens Energy entities, projects, and central functions. Prepare travel arrangements in collaboration with agencies in different countries to ensure personnel has all required paperwork to start work on site. Position requires travel (domestic & international) potentially for extended periods at a time. Develop and maintain the relationship with multiple Siemens Entities globally and aid those entities in maintaining a positive relationship with the local customers.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Business Administration / Project Management / International Business or comparable
  • 10+ years of Global Mobility Management and/or similar experience is a must.
  • A true leader, experienced networker and excellent communicator who can articulate complex issues clearly and can energize and create team spirit and motivate.
  • Experience in people management; construction site experience as an advantage
  • Accountability, strong ownership, solutionoriented mindset, assertiveness, and a sense of urgency mind set.
  • Analyzing skills, implementing improvement measures
  • Conceptual thinking, analytical competence, results orientation and skills of problem recognition and problem solving.
  • English fluent in speaking and writing.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills required. Adapts to change in the work environment, manages competing demands, and changes approach or method to best fit the situation.
