    Key Job Roles & Responsibilities: · Participate in CFT meetings

    • Estimate manufacturing costs and investment for industrialization process.
    • Lead and support plant operation activities to conduct launch builds.
    • Maintain overall program timing plan for manufacturing activities
    • Lead design for manufacturing activities and manufacturing feasibility assessments.
    • Review, implement and create best practices and lessons learn for new products.
    • Ensure proper implementation of manufacturing standards and process design.
    • Lead all Manufacturing APQP activities and submit customer documentation as required.
    • Develop and maintain process documentation (process flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, QPS)
    • Monitor program costs against Gate 2 commitments.
    • Prepare funding requests (PAR) and submit for approval.
    • Coordinate Plant Build activities with cross-functional teams.
    • Lead capability studies, MSA and process statistical data.
    • Prepare PPAP documentation and develop Safe Launch Plans.
    • Monitor Launch Performance of new products.
    • Deploys Visteon Business practices, processes and systems regionally, developing local competence and expertize.
    • Ensures optimum flow of information and material between customers, plants and suppliers
    • Ensures that new programs under responsibility are planned and implemented in accurate/timely manner at planned costs.
    • Develop and review design prototypes, perform test and finalize product design to facilitate mass production (DFM).
    • Approve product design and test plans, review design and recommend adequate changes to the approved models before actual role out of new products.
    • Participate in workshops to promote continuous product improvement initiatives to the programs to be launched.
    • Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates.
    • Arrange weekly meeting with OBO team to get final approval for the program industrialization.
    • Meet customer's timeline of launch programs.
    • Attend gate reviews and maintain reporting of launch phase activities.
    • Develops and evaluates manufacturing capacity, and methods, used for new product launch.
    • Recommends new equipment and manpower needs for new products.
