Objective / Purpose of the Function:

The Customer product Support Specialist is responsible for communicating with Spellman customers, regarding procedures and processes for returning power supplies in need of service.

The position involves adhering to the procedures and practices of the Customer Service Department, including but not limited to issuing RMA's service orders.


Develop and execute strategic plan to provide support and continuously improve knowledge, skills and the learning environment in a mid-size, high mix, multinational engineering, and manufacturing organization.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the customer service database.
  • Receive and dispatch customer returns
  • Handle RMA's and PO requests for customer returns
  • Dispatch customer service calls to appropriate departments/personnel
  • Various data entry functions for receiving / dispatching customer returns
  • Various data entry functions for data collections and inventory control of customer returns
  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.
  • Customer Service / Support: Responsible for activities related to assisting, supporting, and resolving customers questions specific to products and services.
  • Customer Support: Assisting customers by providing information about products and/or services, answering questions, and resolving problems and issues.

Competences / abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, Electronic, Mechatronic, or similar.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
  • Good communication skills (listening, conflict resolution)
  • Must be comfortable using a computer
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word and Excel)
  • May be required to work in manufacturingshop environment
  • Bilingual English-Spanish
